A structured, in-person assessment designed to understand your dog, identify priorities, and define the most appropriate training path forward. This assessment is strongly recommended before serious training and required for behaviour-focused work. What this assessment is: It allows us to work safely, efficiently, and fairly: for you, your dog, and everyone involved. During this in-person session, we assess:
Your dog’s behaviour, temperament, and working state Motivation,
Arousal, and stress levels
Training history and current routines
Handling, environment, and real-life context
Your goals and expectations as an owner
This is not a training session. It is a professional diagnosis and planning session. By the end of the assessment, you will:
Understand what is limiting progress (and what is not)
Know which issues are training-related vs behavioural
Receive clear guidance on priorities and next steps
Be advised honestly on the most appropriate training format
If training is recommended, we will explain:
Whether short-term work is sufficient
Or whether structured, ongoing training is more appropriate No guesswork. No pressure.
Training credit (important)
To keep this assessment fair and aligned with long-term work:
£20 is credited if you proceed with a 4-session pack or above
£45 is credited if you proceed with the ongoing monthly subscription
