By using this website, purchasing any service, attending any session, or engaging with affiliated content, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Privacy & Data Protection (UK GDPR)
1.1 Data Collected

We may collect and process the following personal data:

  • Name, contact details, and address

  • Booking, attendance, and payment records

  • Dog details including health, vaccination, and behavioural information

  • Photos and videos captured during services

  • Website usage data (basic analytics and cookies)

1.2 Purpose of Data Use

Personal data is used solely for:

  • Delivering and managing services

  • Health, safety, and welfare of dogs

  • Legal, insurance, and regulatory compliance

  • Business administration and communication

  • Marketing and promotional use, where consent is provided or where lawful legitimate interest applies

1.3 Lawful Basis for Processing

Data is processed under one or more of the following lawful bases:

  • Performance of a contract

  • Legitimate business interests

  • Legal or insurance obligations

  • Consent (where required)

1.4 Data Sharing

Personal data is not sold.

Data may be shared only where necessary with:

  • Veterinary professionals in an emergency

  • Insurers or legal advisors

  • Payment processors and booking platforms

All third parties are required to handle data lawfully.

1.5 Data Retention

Data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Fulfil services

  • Meet legal, tax, or insurance requirements

1.6 Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

1.7 Data Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are taken to protect personal data from loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.

2. Health, Behaviour & Suitability

You confirm that your dog:

  • Is fit to participate in training, group, or boarding activities

  • Has no undisclosed medical, behavioural, or aggression-related conditions

  • Is appropriately vaccinated, treated for parasites, and in good general health

The client is responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information provided regarding the dog. The trainer accepts no liability for issues arising from omitted, inaccurate, or misleading information.

The trainer reserves the absolute right to:

  • Refuse participation

  • Modify exercises or handling

  • Pause, isolate, or terminate a session or boarding arrangement…where a dog is deemed unsafe, unsuitable, overly stressed, ill, or disruptive.

The trainer, at their sole discretion, reserves the right to terminate services immediately, without refund, where client conduct, interference, dishonesty, or non-compliance compromises safety, effectiveness, or professional standards.

3. Group Sessions, Weather & Operational Changes

Due to the nature of outdoor, group, or live-animal services:

Sessions may be adapted, paused, relocated, or cancelled at short notice due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Safety considerations

  • Behavioural compatibility of participants

  • Trainer availability or welfare considerations

Where the trainer cancels a session, a reasonable alternative will be proposed where feasible.

If a client fails to acknowledge or respond to rescheduled options within a reasonable timeframe, the session will be deemed forfeited and no refund will be issued.

4. Client Cancellations & Refunds

Client-initiated cancellations are non-refundable.

If notice is provided at least 7 days in advance, the trainer may, at their sole discretion:

  • Reschedule the session, or

  • Offer an alternative format

There is no obligation to reschedule.

Missed sessions, late arrivals, or no-shows are treated as used services.
Refunds are not provided for dissatisfaction, perceived lack of results, or change of personal circumstances.

5. Pick-Up / Drop-Off & Home Access

Where pick-up or drop-off is agreed without the owner present, you acknowledge and accept that:

  • Entry is permitted at your sole instruction and risk

  • The trainer is not responsible for:

  • Property damage

  • Security issues

  • Dog escape due to owner-provided access arrangements

You confirm that:

  • Instructions provided are accurate and current

  • Access points are safe and secure

  • The dog is fit to be handled and transported

  • All liability remains strictly limited to the scope of the trainer’s Pet Business Insurance.

6. Dog Boarding & Temporary Care – Safety & Liability

Where dog boarding or temporary care is provided:

  • Dogs are accepted based on disclosed history and observed behaviour

  • Dogs may be managed using separation, confinement, leads, or crates where necessary

  • You acknowledge that boarding involves inherent risks, including stress, illness, or minor injury.

  • Liability for boarding services is strictly capped to the limits of active Pet Business Insurance.

  • Emergency veterinary care may be sought at the owner’s expense if required.

  • Boarding arrangements do not constitute veterinary care, medical supervision, or constant monitoring.

7. Subscriptions, Ongoing Services & Recurring Payments

Where services are provided on a subscription, maintenance, or recurring basis:

  • Subscriptions grant access to availability, support, or ongoing services, not guaranteed outcomes or fixed usage.

  • Fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable once a billing period has started.

  • Partial use, non-use, or reduced engagement does not entitle the client to a refund.

  • Cancellation must be submitted in writing before the next billing cycle to avoid further charges.

  • Failure to attend, respond, or engage does not pause or suspend billing.

Subscriptions are continuous and are not paused, frozen, or extended due to holidays, illness, non-attendance, or personal circumstances unless explicitly agreed in writing.

The trainer reserves the right to suspend or terminate a subscription without refund where:

  • The client breaches these Terms & Conditions.

  • The dog is deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

  • Client behaviour compromises safety, welfare, or professional integrity.

Subscriptions are subject to price, structure, or availability changes, which will apply from the next billing cycle.

8. Scope of Services

Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Dog training (individual, group, puppy, or behavioural coaching)

  • Puppy classes or group socialisation sessions

  • Educational content and digital resources

  • Webstore products and affiliate recommendations

  • Ancillary services such as pick-up / drop-off where explicitly agreed

  • Dog boarding or temporary care services, where offered

All services are provided on a best-effort basis.

9. Training Outcomes & Owner Responsibility

Dog training outcomes depend predominantly on:

  • Owner consistency and follow-through

  • Environment and lifestyle factors

  • Dog genetics, temperament, health, and history

  • Time spent with the trainer represents a minority of the dog’s total learning exposure.

While we aim to achieve the best outcomes possible:

  • No guarantees are made regarding behaviour change, obedience level, or long-term outcomes.

  • You accept full responsibility for continuing training, management, and supervision outside of sessions.

10. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge that working with animals carries inherent risk, including but not limited to:

  • Bites, scratches, or accidental injury

  • Property damage

  • Dog-to-dog incidents

By engaging services, you voluntarily assume all such risks, except where prohibited by law.

Initiating chargebacks or payment disputes without prior written engagement may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

11. Liability Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:

  • Liability is strictly limited to the extent of active Pet Business Insurance cover

  • No liability is accepted for:

  • Indirect or consequential loss

  • Loss of income, time, or opportunity

  • Behavioural regression or escalation outside sessions

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by proven negligence where legally required.

Liability shall never exceed the total amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

12. Website Use & Digital Content

All website content is provided for general informational purposes only and does not replace professional veterinary or behavioural advice.

13. Digital Products & Downloads

Digital products, guides, and downloadable materials are provided as-is and are non-refundable once access or download is granted.
No guarantees are made regarding suitability, results, or outcomes from digital content.

14. Webstore & Affiliate Links

Affiliate links may generate commission.
Third-party purchases are governed by their own terms.

15. Media Use (Photos & Videos)

In accordance with Section 1 (Privacy & Data Protection), by engaging services, you grant permission for photos and videos of you and/or your dog to be used for marketing and educational purposes unless written opt-out is provided in advance.

16. No Partnership / Agency

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions creates a partnership, agency, or employment relationship between the trainer and the client.

17. Force Majeure

The trainer shall not be liable for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, illness, injury, government restrictions, equipment failure, or acts of God.

18. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland.

19. Acceptance

The trainer reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated versions will apply to future services.

By booking, attending, purchasing, or using this website and services, you confirm that you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
